Interior Designer Position

We’re now hiring for an Interior Designer at Otero Signature Homes in Chagrin Falls, OH.

Otero Signature Homes is a growing high-end custom home builder focused exclusively on residential renovations and new homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an awesome company and supportive team! We’re looking for an energetic self-motivated full-time interior designer to join our team! Applicant should be an experienced designer with 5+ years of design experience in new home construction, remodeling, and furnishings. NCIDQ Certification is preferred but not required.

Pay: $75,000 plus bonuses - negotiable based on experience

Typical day in the life as an Interior Designer:

Developing master plans for the coordination of a variety of high-end residential projects
Meet and determine the clients' design preferences and requirements (including budget requirements and/or allowances
Uses of 3-D design software will be used to illustrate suggested design concepts throughout the project
Coordinates with the field project managers to verify proper implementation of the design elements
Applicant will include color schemes, style suggestions, floor plans of movable furniture, floor coverings, interior finishes (tile, counter tops, moldings, door styles, etc.) wall coverings, ceiling treatments, and selections for exterior finishes, light fixtures plumbing fixtures, and cabinetry

What are we looking for?

2-5 years’ experience in residential or commercial interior design
Familiarity with Revit, AutoCad, Sketch Up, Chief Architect or other design software
Professional, Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team focused environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
