Warranty Manager

We’re now hiring for a Warranty Manager at Otero Signature Homes in Chagrin Falls, OH.

Otero Signature Homes, a growing high-end custom home builder focused exclusively on residential renovations and new homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an awesome company and supportive team! We are looking for an enthusiastic Warranty Manager with 2-5 years of previous Home Building experience and great communication skills. You will be responsible to follow through with an efficient 1-year warranty with a detailed 60-day, 6 month and 11 months walk through. In addition, this position will be responsible to handling requests from past clients after the warranty period has expired and sell of an extended warranty program to our current and past high-end custom residential and renovation clients.

Typical day in the life as a Warranty Manager:

Completion and coordination of our warranty commitments with our subcontractors, and internal labor.
Some hands-on labor will be required, and candidate must possess miscellaneous trade skills to succeed in accomplishing minor adjustments in a completed project.
Estimating and Procurement of Subcontractors with negotiated pricing for extended warranty items
Budgeting and Cost tracking on client requested warranty and maintenance work.
Developing and defining the scope of work subcontractors for extended warranty requests.
Project budgeting and purchase orders for warranty and extended warranty work
Material takeoff and procurement for warranty and extended warranty work
Schedule development & management warranty and extended warranty work
Permitting, codes, and regulatory requirements
Customer interaction and sales of the extended warranty program. Maintaining a positive relationship with clients
Use of Word, Excel, Power Point and Buildertrend
