Running for the Ronald McDonald House

June 1, 2012

On May 20, 2012 Ted Otero ran the Cleveland Half Marathon to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland. His goal was to raise $5000 to provide a home for 37 families throughout the next year, while their children undergo medical treatment at a Cleveland area hospital.

With the encouragement and generous donations from so many people over the last few months, Ted was able to complete the Cleveland Half Marathon, despite struggling with a calf injury, in 2 hours, 46 minutes and 27 seconds. A total of $4300 has currently been raised for the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, putting Ted less than $1000 away from his fundraising goal.

Ted’s fundraising page for the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland will stay open through July, 2012. If you have not made a donation yet and would like to, please visit www.oterohomes.com and click on “Donate” on the homepage.

Thank you to everyone who supported Ted through this journey! Otero Signature Homes is very excited to present the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland with a check that will benefit so many families in need, over the next year. We couldn’t have done it without your generosity.
